Catalysts for Motorcycles and ATV's
Stricter exhaust standards worldwide require the use of catalytic converters in almost all motorcycles and ATV's. Varying emission limits make a large number of solutions necessary that are specific to the market and to individual customers. Heraeus is already facing up to these requirements and is working on projects to achieve future limit values: Our HeraPurTM motorbike catalysts represent the optimum middle course between environmental protection, design, sound and performance.
3 Way Catalysts
3 way catalysts are the most important exhaust purification technology for lambda 1 regulated motorcycles. Our coatings are characterized by their high storage capacity and dynamics for O2 and by their resistance to ageing while only requiring low precious metal loadings.

Oxidation Catalysts
HeraPurTM oxidation motorcycle catalysts make all the difference in those applications where 3-way catalysts alone are not able to achieve the emission goals. They guarantee that even the strictest legislation limits are observed for small 2- and 4-stroke motorcycles.
