Catalysts for Marine Applications
Tighter legislation in the marine area also calls for innovative catalytic coatings for application in river boats, yachts and sports boats. High mechanical and thermal loadings in sports boats present us with a constant challenge for the further development of our HeraPurTM catalysts for marine applications. Sulfur resistant coatings permit the use of the widest range of fuel qualities.
3 Way Catalysts
High thermal loading, poisoning by sea water and long running times present a special challenge to our HeraPurTM 3-way coatings when they are used in sports boats. We find the optimal solution in close cooperation with the engine and catalyst support manufacturers.

Oxidation Catalysts
HeraPurTM oxidation coatings are used in diesel powered sea-going ships and inland vessels as well as in power generators and combined heat and power plants on yachts. Varying fuel qualities require particularly poison-resistant catalyst coatings.
