Catalysts for Industrial and Special Applications
Odors arise when roasting coffee, in smokehouses and also in domestic ovens. These can be eliminated with the Heraeus HeraPurTM catalysts. A further area of application is the use of catalysts in co-generation plants which are operated with a wide variety of fuels such as diesel, bio-diesel, gas and their mixtures. Further special applications for Heraeus catalysts are fuel cells, soldering irons run on liquefied gas, etc.
3 Way Catalysts
We have developed our particularly durable HeraPurTM catalyst formulations for application in stationary engines driven by gas or liquefied gas. Central significance is given to the washcoat components and the stabilization of precious metals on the washcoat.

Soot Filters
Diesel powered industrial engines for various application purposes are equipped with HeraPurTM soot ignition coatings on the basis of precious metal or metal oxide. These coatings contribute to savings on system and energy costs.
