Heraeus offers sample kits for customer laboratory tests to identify the best catalyst for each individual process.
The best catalyst from the sample kit selection may already meet the requirements. Otherwise it may serve as the starting point for further improvements resulting in tailor-made catalysts for specific applications.
Standard sample kits are available for liquid and/or gas phase reactions.
- Powder catalysts are available in dry (≤ 3%) or paste form.
- Sample size of powder catalyst can vary from 20 – 50 g.
- Fixed bed catalyst kits are selected for different applications, e.g. hydrogenation, gas purification, etc.
- The sample size of fixed bed catalysts depends on the requirement of the customer.
